UNREEL HUNTING: Hunting on St. Croix? Who would have ever thought that was possible, but indeed it is. St. Croix offers a variety of deer, wild hogs, and wild cattle for gaming. Let hunting be apart of your next adventure while visiting St. Croix.

Captain Harold Price is an experienced bow hunter on St. Croix. In collaboration with the local Department of Agriculture, Capt. Harry has exclusive gaming rights to rid the islands local farms, per the request of the farmers, of nuisance game. St. Croix is known for it's wonderful soil and organic farming. Crucian Deer and wild hogs and cattle can destroy the local farmers organic crops if not controlled, so WHY NOT HUNT!

Where's the Beef or better yet the Pork or Venison?Capt. Price can cut up the beef, venison, or pork for table fare to enjoy while you are visiting the island, but unfortunately due to the U.S. Department of Agriculture you are not allowed to leave the island with any plant or animal wildlife products (See below for reasons why).
"BONT TICKS"
These are not peoples pets or locally known Senopole Cattle, these animals are nuisance wild game that have bred outside of controlled settings and are invading organic farmers crops and destroying the islands vegetation. In addition, these wild animals are potential carriers of the tropical tick known as a "BONT TICK". For more than 170 years, the tropical Bont tick (Amblyomma variegatum) has been island hopping in the Caribbean, bringing severe economic losses for livestock producers wherever it goes. The Caribbean Amblyomma Programme (CAP), carried out by FAO, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), is working to wipe out the tropical Bont tick from the Caribbean and eliminate the possibility of the parasite reaching the shores of the American continents.
